Who is Prefillio for?

How is this different from a generic form builder?

A generic builder collects whatever someone types. Prefillio is built around company identification: fields are linked to official registers, addresses and VAT numbers are checked, and the data arrives structured instead of as free text.

It is not a general survey or questionnaire tool, and it is not aimed at consumer sign-ups. The strength lies in forms where a company has to be identified and its data verified.

Do I need a developer to use it?

Not for building and publishing a form: fields, branding and languages are configured in the interface. You only need someone with DNS access if you want to publish the form on your own domain.

What does a visitor actually see?

Which data is filled in automatically?

Company details from the official register of the selected country — such as the company name, legal form and registered address. In the Netherlands, street and city are also derived from postcode and house number.

What happens if the company cannot be found?

The visitor can search again on registration number or, in most countries, on company name. If the register returns nothing or is temporarily unavailable, the form does not block: the remaining details can still be entered manually.

Most fields stay editable, so a visitor can adjust them. A small number of fields that come straight from an official source — such as street and city after an address lookup — are shown as read-only to keep the record consistent.

Are VAT numbers verified?

Yes. A European VAT number is first checked on format and then validated against VIES, the European Commission's official service. If VIES is temporarily unreachable, the form reports that instead of silently approving the number.

Which countries are supported?

Company identification currently works for the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, Norway, Finland, Czechia, Switzerland, Poland and Canada. Coverage is per country, not worldwide.

Where does the company data come from?

From the official trade register of each country: KVK, Companies House, INSEE Sirene, Brønnøysundregistrene, PRH/YTJ, ARES, the Swiss UID register, KRS and Corporations Canada. VAT numbers are checked against VIES.

Can visitors search by company name instead of a number?

In most supported countries, yes — often with a city filter as well. For Poland and Canada the official registers do not offer a documented name search, so identification there works with the registration number.

Yes. You choose the target markets per form. The visitor selects the country in the first step, after which the right register and the matching form language are used.

Automatic company identification only works for the countries listed above. Adding a country means connecting its official register, so it is not something you can switch on yourself.

A B2B field library grouped in four steps: company identification, address, contact details and billing — including VAT number, IBAN and a separate invoicing address. You switch fields on or off per form.

Yes, required or optional is set per field. Only the company identification that the form is built around stays fixed, because the rest of the flow depends on it.

Yes. Groups such as a separate delivery or invoicing address only unfold when the visitor indicates they are needed, and some fields only appear once a value has been retrieved.

Yes. The builder shows a live preview that you can view at desktop, tablet and mobile width. A form stays a draft until you publish it.

Every published form is a hosted page with its own link. You can share that link directly or point to it from your website, for example from a button on your 'become a customer' page.

Yes. You can connect your own domain or subdomain, for example registration.yourcompany.com. You add one DNS record; the certificate and verification are handled and their status is shown in the interface.

The page itself carries your brand: your logo, colours and, on your own domain, your web address. A small 'Powered by Prefillio' badge is shown in the corner of published forms.

No. A hosted form uses its own title, description and icon based on your branding, so the tab and shared link show your organisation rather than Prefillio.
